WIAW- Weekend Eats

Hello everyone! It feels like its been forever since I have had a chance to blog. I blame that on one thing.. LIFE! I have been balancing quite a few things in my life now, but I still managed to snap some shot of my weekend eats.

My boyfriend was in town this weekend (YAY) and it had been almost 2 months since we have seen each other, and we were super excited to have a date night or two!

Now enough with the chatter and on to the good stuff, THE FOOD!

Here is some of our date weekend eats!

We had dinner at Carnivale– A Lation Fusion Restaurant

Their food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is so fun! If you live in Chicago I would definitely recommend it!

Criollo Half Chicken
Roasted Amish chicken, criollo marinade under a bed of caramelized plantains

Calamari to share

Ribs with a side of Roasted Veggies for him
